It is almost the halfway point for Nick's deployment and I am past my halfway point on being pregnant with baby. Everything is going good so far. I'm trying to stay healthy and eat good food for baby and me that we both like. Which is hard sometimes, one day baby won't mind it, next my body wants to reject it... It's like it cannot make up it's mind on these things.... Jobwise, I'm looking, but kinda debating if I should really get one. I'm not all ecstatic about leaving my baby with a babysitter yet since Nick and I will both be working during the daytime hours. Maybe if I'm lucky, the job I'm interested in right now will let me bring the baby to work. It can't be that much of a distraction can it??? The baby will be sleeping most of the time...
The raining season was late this year, so instead of raining in June and up to mid July, it is still raining, and doing so right now as I am typing this. It is very interesting to see fog inland especially so late in the day... But also unfortunately, the rain also means that spiders like to come into old homes to be safe for the time being and look for foodl if there is any. Which means I'll be on the killing spree as long as they are not too big, to where the sight of them makes me feel like jumping back two to three feet and have a heart attack at the same time. Only happened once so far, and some of the spiders I have killed were pretty big, but not the last one. I went to ask my neighbors who lived behind us for help, and it took the two of them to kill it with bug spray and swatting it with a newspaper once they got the darn thing to not run. This spider, the huntsman spider, can run up to a yard per second if I remember correctly and can grow up to be the size of a large adult's hand. The spider I seen could fit my daddy's palm nicely, and most of you know how tall and big my daddy is. The spider is not that poisonous to humans, but I don't really care, if a spider enters the house and I see it, it's only a matter of time before it dies.
Well, as for Nick's part in this blog, besides the almost halfway mark, he has been to Australia and had fun there. He likes the fact that the girls there leave you alone if they learn you are married. He doesn't have to keep telling them to leave him alone! XD I found it hilarious when he told me, considering how other places he been to so far are quite the opposite! He'll be back home around in a month and hopefully will be able to stay home after that. But until then they have two more port stops I believe for the deployment this year. I can't wait to see him again!!! And it will be with a belly too!
Festivals appear to be in full swing now here in Japan. The street I lived on had a small festival going, for what I don't know lol, but I was invited to join in the traditional Japanese dancing, and had fun learning it as I go! I will also be joining Tessa and her friends this weekend at Yokohama for the x8000 fireworks that are going to be held there. So I am definately keeping busy this summer, as I am also volunteering and helping setup for Vacation Bible School that my church is doing this summer. And the theme is Discover Canyon!! XD I'll be making a somewhat version of the area that surrounds my home!!!
Well this has gotten long but I think I caught up on everything...
Blog or write to you all later!!!!
